The last Colorverse x Opus 88 ink is Colorverse #40 Girls Just Wanna. In each box is a 65ml bottle and a 15ml bottle of matching ink. This ink was designed to match the Opus 88 Color Demonstrator fountain pen. Thanks to Pen Chalet for sending a sample over for review.

The color:

Girls Just Wanna is a lovely bubblegum pink.

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 30 seconds

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: no shadingno sheen, and no shimmer

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was feathering and just a little bit of bleeding.

Comparison Swabs:

Ink swabs for comparison, left to right (top to bottom for mobile RSS): Diamine Flamingo Pink, Colorverse 40 Girls Just Wanna, and Colorverse 5 Lights on CeresClick here to see the Colorverse inks together.

Diamine Scarlet, Lamy Vibrant Pink, and Kobe 30 Oji Cherry. Oji Cherri is similar to Girls Just Wanna, but it's a bit brighter, and the flow is much wetter. Oji Cherry is the closest (and I actually prefer it over Girls Just Wanna). Click here to see the pink inks together.

Longer writing:

I used a fine Jinhao Shark pen on Tomoe River paper. The ink had a slightly dry flow, which caused some skipping.

Overall, it's pretty well behaved, but a bit drier than I prefer. I do like the color, it reminds me of bubblegum.
