In large swabs it has a beautiful brown sheen.

Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 30 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: low shading, medium sheen, and no shimmer. The sheen shows up the most on Tomoe River paper, but can also be seen just a little bit on Rhodia.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was some feathering and just a little bit of bleeding.

Comparison Swabs:

Longer writing:

I used a medium Pelikan M800 Renaissance Brown on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow. There was some nib creep.

Overall, I like the sheen this ink has, but there was a fair amount of nib creep.
