Ink Review #101: Diamine Pumpkin
/Since we are now into fall, I've been craving more oranges in my writing. Diamine Pumpkin fits the bill. I purchased my bottle of Pumpkin from Cult Pens.
The large swabs show just a tiny bit of gold sheen.
The ink drops have a lot more red in them than shows in actual writing.
Dry time: 30 seconds
Water resistance: low
Feathering: None
Show through: low to medium
Bleeding: None
Other properties: There is a tiny bit of gold sheen in large swabs, and low shading.
Ink swabs for comparison, left to right (top to bottom for RSS): Diamine Orange, Diamine Pumpkin, and Diamine Blaze Orange. To see the Diamine ink swabs together, click here.
Montblanc Lucky Orange, Nemosine Solar Storm 1859, and Sailor Jentle Apricot. To see the orange ink swabs together, click here.
Overall, this is a very well-behaved ink. It's a bit too bright for me, but if you love orange inks, give it a try.
