I love teal inks, especially in the summer so I checked for teal inks I haven’t reviewed in my ink drawer and came up with Diamine Steel Blue. It’s a gorgeous bright teal. I purchased my bottle of ink from Cult Pens.

Dry time: 10 seconds

Other properties: medium shading, tiny sheen, and no shimmer.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper the ink feathered in all nib sizes and had a little bit of bleeding.

Steel Blue is a little bit darker than Diamine Marine. Click here to see the Diamine inks together, and click here to see the teal inks together.

I used a Pelikan M600 Turquoise with a broad nib on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow. I really like this pen/ink combo.

Overall, I really like this ink. Diamine does a great job with teal inks, and this one is another winner.
