Inkebara Part 2
/Today’s inks are five Inkebara inks from the Standard and Soft Tones collections. You can find these inks for sale at Vanness Pens.
Swabs:
Left to right: Green, Highlands Green, Melissa, Sea Green and Pastel Violet.
Writing samples:
Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.
Dry Time: 20-60 seconds
Water Resistance: Low
Feathering: None
Show through: Medium
Bleeding: None
Other properties: Low-medium shading.
On Walmart Pen + Gear copy paper there was some feathering in every nib size as well as some bleeding.
Comparison Swabs:
Green is a little darker than Highlands Green.
Melissa is brighter than PenBBS Honeysuckle.
Sea Green is more grey than Kyo-no-oto Urahairo.
Pastel Violet is a lot lighter and less saturated than these other purples.
All had dry flows.
Overall, Highlands Green is my favorite out of the five just because I enjoy the color. Pastel Violet is my least favorite-it’s too pale to read easily.
