Pelikan M200 Pastel Blue

I love Pelikans. I have quite a few of them so when they came out with the Pelikan M200 Pastel Blue (aff. link) I knew it needed to go on my wish list! Thanks to EndlessPens for sending this pen over for review!

The pen is a pale sky blue with some marbling and 5 inches long when capped. The cap is a screw cap. The pen weighs 14 grams.

The pen has an ivory section and a clear ink window. I love the ink window, it’s so much easier to see when I need to refill soon.

The pen is piston fill and easy to clean.

Now let’s talk about the cap. It’s 2.25 inches long with a clip. The cap band is engraved with Pelikan Germany.

The medium steel nib is engraved with Pelikan and their bird logo. The nib is not numbered.

The section is a slim 9.3mm and has a very discreet step to the threads and barrel.

The nib doesn’t have much feedback. It’s a very stiff steel nib, no softness or flex to it.

When inked with Sailor Sky High the writing was smooth with no flow issues.

With cursive again I had no issues with the nib.

The pen is just a little small for my hands but is comfortable for long writing sessions.

I really enjoyed this pen! I love Pelikan nibs and this pen has a good smooth nib. I would absolutely purchase this pen and can’t wait for the new Copper Rose Gold version to come out next year.
