We are still in the middle of green week, so today's ink is Robert Oster Green Green. I purchased my sample of ink from Vanness Pens. Green Green is available in 50ml bottles.

The color:

Green green is a medium bright green.

When the ink is pooled it turns black around the edges, but it isn't sheen. I have found that a lot of Robert Oster's green inks do this, especially the medium and lighter greens.

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 15 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: Medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer

On 20 pound copy paper there was some feathering but other than that the ink behaved well.

Longer writing:

I used a medium Pelikan White Transparent on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, it's a lovely ink. Robert Oster makes some wonderful green inks. Give it a try, you might love it.
