Swabs:
Left to right: Potato of Spring, New Hope Crown and Eung-ang.
Writing samples:
Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.
Dry Time: 40 seconds
Water Resistance: Medium
Feathering: None
Show through: Medium
Bleeding: None
Other properties: Low shading
On Walmart Pen + Gear copy paper there was some feathering in every nib size as well as some bleeding.
Comparison Swabs:
Potato of Spring is a little lighter than Monarca Arena Blanca.
New Hope Crown is less saturated than these other teal inks.
Eung-ang is much lighter than these other blue inks.
Longer Writing:
All had dry flows.
Overall, all three are too pale for me to easily read, so I would suggest these inks be used more for art than for everyday writing. They are just too pale and dry for me.
