In large swabs on Tomoe River paper the ink almost purple in some spots where it pooled, and even feathered around the edges.

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 40 seconds

Water resistance: Medium

Feathering: Low

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: Medium

Other properties: medium shading, no sheen, and no shimmer.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was some feathering and bleeding in all nib sizes.

I used a Pilot Vanishing Point Galaxy with a medium nib on a Taroko Enigma notebook. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, I enjoyed the color, but the low feathering and medium bleeding makes it a no-go for me. There are a lot of great reds out there I would use before this one.
