Ink Review #1524: Yoseka Origin No. 01
/Yoseka recently sent me a package that included their new store exclusive ink Yoseka Origin No. 01. Yoseka is owned by Daisy and Neil, who are the kindest people. You can find this ink for sale at Yoseka.
Swabs:
In large swabs on Tomoe River paper there is a little bit of red sheen.
Writing samples:
Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.
Dry time: 40 seconds
Water resistance: Low
Feathering: None
Show through: Medium
Bleeding: None
Other properties: medium shading, low red sheen, and no shimmer.
On Walmart 20lb copy paper there was quite a bit of feathering and bleeding.

Longer writing:
I used a Pilot Custom 74 Forest with a medium nib on a Taroko Breeze notebook. The ink had an average flow. I really like this pen/ink combo!
Overall, I enjoyed this ink. It’s a nice medium green with some pretty shading and well behaved too!
