Ink Review #306: Colorverse #3 Saturn V
/Our fourth Colorverse ink this week is #3 of Spaceward Season 1, Saturn V. Thanks to Pen Chalet for sending over samples for review.
Swabs:
In large swabs you can see the sheen. In some lighting it looks black, and in some it looks dark pink, which makes this ink interesting.
Writing samples:
Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.
Dry time: 40 seconds
Water resistance: Low
Feathering: None
Show through: Medium
Bleeding: None
Other properties: high shading, medium sheen, and no shimmer. I was impressed with the shading this ink had. You can see the shading even in the extra fine nib.
On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was some feathering and a little bit of bleeding.
Comparison Swabs:

Overall, I was impressed with the shading and sheen this ink has. The shading even showed up in the extra fine nib, which is rare. I love the color.
