Sailor Jentle Miruai

I talked about the Sailor Jentle Four Seasons collection here, and today I'm going to talk about Miruai. It's full name is Sailor Jentle Four Seasons Miruai--Seaweed Indigo. Holy cow that's a mouthful.

Miruai comes in a 50 ml bottle, and Sailor has it marketed as a spring ink. Yes, I already spilled some ink on the label.

The color...

Miruai is a dark green, with a black sheen. The green is almost a teal, but not quite. Seasonally, I would use this in the winter.

When I tested the ink drops, you can't even see much of the green, it's mostly just black sheen.

Similar inks:

Left to right, Diamine Green/Black, Sailor Jentle Miruai, and Diamine Cult Pens Deep Dark Green. I think Deep Dark Green is the closest, but it has just a bit more yellow in it, and lacks the full black sheen.

Overall, I think this ink is a unique color, there aren't many other inks that are this shade of green, and especially not with the black sheen. It's a very wet ink, and lays down a ton of ink. I like that it's a little bit unusual, and that black sheen is great. Below is a link to where you can find this ink on Amazon.
