mv-kindness-2.jpg

Monteverde Kindness Pink is from the Emotions set, and is a lovely light pink. This pink is a lovely color for the spring, light but still easy to read. Thanks to Monteverde for sending the ink over for review.

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 30 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Low

Bleeding: None

Other properties: medium shading, low sheen, and no shimmer.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was a bit of bleeding and feathering in the flex nib as well as some feathering in the other nib sizes.

Comparison Swabs:

Kindness is similar to Lamy Rhodonite. Click here to see the Monteverde Inks together, and click here to see the pink inks together.

Longer Writing:

I used an Edison Beaumont Unicorn with a fine nib on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, it’s a pretty color, well behaved, and would be a lovely pink for spring.
