Ink Review #350: Diamine Moon Dust

It's the last day of grey week, so let's finish up with Diamine Moon Dust, part of the 2016 Shimmertastic  collection. I purchased my sample from Vanness Pens.

The color:

Moon Dust is a light, neutral grey.

Swabs:

In large swabs there is plenty of silver shimmer.

Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 20 seconds. 

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: low shadingno sheen, and silver shimmer

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was some feathering in most nib sizes but no bleeding.

Longer writing: 

I used a broad Pelikan M600 Turquoise on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, this is a great silver shimmer ink. It has lots of shimmer, and a little bit of shading as well. Right now it's my favorite silver shimmer.
