Robert Oster Graphite

And we are back for the third and final bottle of Robert Oster I currently own: Graphite. I bought my bottle of Graphite at Vanness Pens. The price did go up a dollar this week, but I think the ink is worth it.

The bottle is very efficient, tall skinny bottles make it easy to fill pens. I like the Gold label-it's very classy.

I love that there is a label on the top-with the color name and a tiny little swab. With some brands I have a really hard time finding the right bottle when they are in a drawer and all look the same from the top.

The color...

Graphite is a dark grey with a green undertone. I would call this ink a neutral, and suitable for the office.

There is no sheen, but there is plenty of shading.

Similar inks:

Graphite is similar to Robert Oster Grun-Schwarz.

On the left is Graphite, and on the right is Grun-Schwarz. Grun-Schwarz has a bit more green to it.

Overall, this ink had high shading on every paper, similar to the other Robert Oster inks I have tried so far. This ink didn't have any sheen, but it's still a beautiful ink. It's a great neutral to add to your collection.

Disclaimer: I purchased this ink myself and all opinions and photos are my own.
