Ink Review #2147: Wearingeul Wuthering Heights

Today’s ink is Wearingeul Wuthering Heights, an EndlessPens exclusive ink. Thanks to EndlessPens for sending this ink over for review!

The color:

Wuthering Heights is a pale green grey with shimmer.

*For my swab cards I use a Col-o-ring by Skylab Letterpress, a medium Pilot Ishime and a Mabie Todd Swan.

Swabs:

In large swabs on Tomoe River paper the ink has plenty of green and silver shimmer.

Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

*For my writing samples I use:

Dry time: 30 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: medium shading, no sheen, and green and silver shimmer.

On 20 lb copy paper the ink had just a little bit of feathering and some bleeding.

Comparison Swabs:

Wuthering Heights is unique among green shimmer inks-I don’t have anything similar. Click here to see the green inks together.

Longer Writing:

I used a Pelikan M805 Ocean Swirl with a broad nib on a Taroko Enigma notebook. The ink had a dry flow, and had some skipping issues.

Overall, I love the unique color. I did have some skipping issues because the flow is so dry, so I prefer this ink in wetter pens.
